2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "national sports federation" means a body recognised under section 10; (b) "athlete" means any person who competes in sport at the international level or the national level; (c) "Agency" means the National Anti-Doping Agency established under section 3; (d) "anti-doping rule violation" means a violation of the anti-doping rules specified in section 9; (e) "recognised" means recognised by the Central Government under this Act; (f) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (g) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
