Section 32, The Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021 [S2A-TRZ]

32. Registration of masters.—(1) Every master shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the command of a ship after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Director-General in Form 3, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees. (2) The Director-General shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No master shall carry on the command of a ship unless registered under this section.
