18. Registration of registereds medical practitioner.—(1) Every registered medical practitioner shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the practice of medicine after such commencement, within ninety days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Licensing Authority in Form 20, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees. (2) The Licensing Authority shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No registered medical practitioner shall carry on the practice of medicine unless registered under this section.
