53. Registration of hostels.—(1) Every hostel shall, within sixty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the running of a hostel after such commencement, within sixty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Commission in Form C, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees. (2) The Commission shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No hostel shall carry on the running of a hostel unless registered under this section.
