2. Amendment of section 49.—In section 49 of the Prevention and Control Of Infectious And Contagious Diseases In Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five lakh rupees", the words "fifteen lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
