2. Amendment of section 34.—In section 34 of the Departmentalisation of Union Accounts (Transfer of Personnel) Act, 1976 (59 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "one thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
