2. Amendment of section 54.—In section 54 of the national Rural Employment Guarantee(Extension to Jammu And Kashmir) Act, 2007 (23 of 2007) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "thirty days", the words "seven days" shall be substituted.
