2. Amendment of section 55.—In section 55 of the Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses and Production of Documents) Act, 1972 (18 of 1972) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "thirty days", the words "sixty days" shall be substituted.
