2. Amendment of section 48.—In section 48 of the Public Financial Institutions (Obligation as to Fidelity and Secrecy) Act, 1983 (48 of 1983) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
