12. Procedure for the generation of electricity.—(1) Every generating company shall, before undertaking the generation of electricity, intimate the Central Commission in writing, specifying the tariff concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Central Commission may, within ninety days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
