2. Amendment of section 46.—In section 46 of the Illegal Migrants (Determination by Tribunals) Act, 1983 (39 of 1983) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five thousand rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
