2. Amendment of section 13.—In section 13 of the Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act, 1993 (46 of 1993) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
