Section 32, Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout-Design Act, 2000 [S20-9QX]

32. Registration of proprietors.—(1) Every proprietor shall, within three months from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the use of a registered mark after such commencement, within three months from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Controller in Form 18, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees. (2) The Controller shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No proprietor shall carry on the use of a registered mark unless registered under this section.
