10. Procedure for the drawing and disbursement of funds.—(1) Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall, before undertaking the drawing and disbursement of funds, intimate the Comptroller and Auditor-General in writing, specifying the expenditure concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Comptroller and Auditor-General may, within twenty-one days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
