2. Amendment of section 41.—In section 41 of the State Associated Banks (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1962 (56 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "one thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
