Section 10, Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 [S1Y-GAQ]

10. Power to exempt.—The Central Government may, if it is satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, by notification, exempt any class of persons carrying on a clinical establishment from all or any of the provisions of this Act, subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification.
