13. Procedure for the transit of forest produce.—(1) Every owner of forest produce shall, before undertaking the transit of forest produce, intimate the Central Board in writing, specifying the consent concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Central Board may, within fifteen days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
