2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Force" means the Force constituted under section 4; (b) "enrolled person" means a person enrolled under this Act; (c) "superior officer" when used in relation to a person subject to this Act, means any person who is entitled under this Act or the rules made thereunder to command such person; (d) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act; (e) "cantonment" means any place declared to be a cantonment under section 3; (f) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (g) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
