Section 53, Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transactions in Securities) Act, 1992 [S1X-2C1]

53. Registration of issuers.—(1) Every issuer shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the issue of securities after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Board in Form C, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees. (2) The Board shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No issuer shall carry on the issue of securities unless registered under this section.
