Section 18, Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transactions in Securities) Act, 1992 [S1X-197]

18. Registration of issuers.—(1) Every issuer shall, within forty-five days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the issue of securities after such commencement, within forty-five days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Board in Form A, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees. (2) The Board shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No issuer shall carry on the issue of securities unless registered under this section.
