2. Amendment of section 48.—In section 48 of the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation Act, 1961 (47 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one thousand rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
