2. Amendment of section 41.—In section 41 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 (5 of 1970) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "four thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
