2. Amendment of section 40.—In section 40 of the Departmentalisation of Union Accounts (Transfer of Personnel) Act, 1976 (59 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "thirty days", the words "sixty days" shall be substituted.
