2. Amendment of section 24.—In section 24 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "fifty lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
