2. Amendment of section 6.—In section 6 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act, 1986 (25 of 1986) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty rupees", the words "one thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
