2. Amendment of section 33.—In section 33 of the Limitation Act (Section 5 of the Indian Limitation Act), 1963 (36 of 1963) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "five thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
