2. Amendment of section 22.—In section 22 of the Land Acquisition (Amendment and Validation) Act, 1967 (13 of 1967) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
