2. Amendment of section 18.—In section 18 of the Special Criminal Courts (Jurisdiction) Act, 1950 (18 of 1950) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
