Section 35, Emigration Act, 1983 [S1S-JB0]

35. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every emigrant shall maintain such records and registers relating to emigration for employment as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every emigrant shall furnish to the passport authority a return in Form S within thirty days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the passport authority may, by order in writing, require.
