2. Amendment of section 12.—In section 12 of the City of Bombay Municipal (Supplementary) Act, 1888 (12 of 1888) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
