2. Amendment of section 17.—In section 17 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one hundred and eighty days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
