2. Amendment of section 41.—In section 41 of the Public Sector Iron and Steel Companies (Restructuring) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1978 (16 of 1978) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one lakh rupees", the words "five lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
