2. Amendment of section 16.—In section 16 of the Dekkhan Agriculturists’ Relief Act, 1879 (17 of 1879) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "twenty-five thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
