2. Amendment of section 46.—In section 46 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 (56 of 1971) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "thirty days", the words "sixty days" shall be substituted.
