2. Amendment of section 58.—In section 58 of the Life Insurance Corporation (Modification of Settlement) Act, 1976 (72 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ten thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
