12. Procedure for participation in procurement.—(1) Every bidder shall, before undertaking participation in procurement, intimate the Comptroller and Auditor-General in writing, specifying the contract concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Comptroller and Auditor-General may, within sixty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
