Rule 2, Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act Rules, 1977 [S1Q-H4D]

2. Definitions.—(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976 (13 of 1976); (b) "Form" means a form appended to these rules; (c) "section" means a section of the Act. (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
