2. Amendment of section 24.—In section 24 of the Central Laws (Extension to Jammu and Kashmir) Act, 1968 (25 of 1968) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one thousand rupees", the words "one lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
