Rule 12, Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act Rules, 1977 [S1Q-HES]

12. Procedure for the export of goods.—(1) Every exporter shall, before undertaking the export of goods, intimate the Director General in writing, specifying the licence concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Director General may, within one hundred and eighty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
