48. Protection of action taken in good faith.—No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government, the Comptroller and Auditor-General or any officer of the Central Government or of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
