Section 25, Tobacco Board Act, 1975 [S1P-RHB]

25. Registration of members.—(1) Every member shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins membership of a society after such commencement, within fifteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar in Form B, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees. (2) The Registrar shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No member shall carry on membership of a society unless registered under this section.
