2. Amendment of section 39.—In section 39 of the Bihar and Uttar Pradesh (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1968 (24 of 1968) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "ninety days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
