12. Procedure for the holding of a policy.—(1) Every policy-holder shall, before undertaking the holding of a policy, intimate the Authority in writing, specifying the insurer concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Authority may, within ninety days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
