10. Procedure for the assessment of loss.—(1) Every surveyor shall, before undertaking the assessment of loss, intimate the Authority in writing, specifying the register concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Authority may, within thirty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
