Section 49, Emergency Risks (Goods) Insurance Act, 1971 [S1M-SVB]

49. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every insurance agent shall maintain such records and registers relating to the soliciting of insurance business as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every insurance agent shall furnish to the Authority a return in Form IRDA-2 within thirty days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Authority may, by order in writing, require.
