4. Registration of privates body funded by a public authority.—(1) Every private body funded by a public authority shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the receipt of public funds after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Central Information Commission in Form B, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees. (2) The Central Information Commission shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No private body funded by a public authority shall carry on the receipt of public funds unless registered under this section.
