46. Registration of companies.—(1) Every company shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the carrying on of business by a company after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar of Companies in Form MGT-7, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees. (2) The Registrar of Companies shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No company shall carry on the carrying on of business by a company unless registered under this section.
