48. Protection of action taken in good faith.—No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government, the Reserve Bank or any officer of the Central Government or of the Reserve Bank for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
