18. Registration of courts auctioneer.—(1) Every court auctioneer shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the conduct of court auctions after such commencement, within ninety days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the High Court in Form A, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees. (2) The High Court shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No court auctioneer shall carry on the conduct of court auctions unless registered under this section.
