2. Amendment of section 39.—In section 39 of the Coal Mines Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1948 (46 of 1948) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "sixty days", the words "fifteen days" shall be substituted.
